• Dr Vikram has been working as a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist at our institute since November 2017.
• Dr Vikram graduated from the prestigious Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, India and later he attained his post-graduation in pediatrics (DCH) from the same institute.
• Dr Vikram has 15 years of work experience in several reputed hospitals in the United Kingdom. Apart from pediatric cardiology, his training encompasses general pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care and cardiac intensive care including Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) care (Nottingham and Leicester hospitals, UK).
• Dr Vikram was trained as a Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist at two of the most prestigious tertiary care pediatric cardiac centers in UK namely, Birmingham children’s hospital and Glenfield hospital, Leicester. He also underwent additional advanced level training in countries such as Malaysia and Vietnam.
• Dr Vikram worked as a lead consultant in Interventional Pediatric Cardiology at Glenfield hospital, Leicester for two and half years from February 2015 to August 2017.
• Dr Vikram has published many articles in peer reviewed, indexed, high impact journals. He has also presented his research works in many national and international conferences.
• Dr Vikram is also a member of Healing Little Hearts charity. Itis a UK based charity organization that facilitates needy children in getting corrective heart surgeries in low- and middle-income countries.
